"Arrived around 1pm for lunch. Choose a table with an ocean view. Waitress asked for drink orders and left the menu. We waited about 10 minutes before she came back for our order. She apologized for the wait saying she had to meet the beer truck. I ordered the seniors clams and chips and my husband the Seniors fish and chips. Within 5 minutes we had our order. Delicious and just enough! Will return on our annual visit to Parrsboro."

"Interesting wine flight- 2 oz samples of any 3 wines- a great start. The mussels prepared with beer and bacon were a delightful treat. Main course of pork loin included a very tasty sauce, with baby beets, both red and white and mashed potato."

"The venue is an old post office/customs house/.armory with tens of thousands of books, eclectic artworks, The cafe food is fresh and extraordinarily tasty, reasonable. Varying hours best to e-mail [email protected] to see if they're open. Of course if the sandwich board sign is...outside DO GO IN it's an amazing place with friendly people. Came to paint the landscape stayed to eat the local tides are the most extreme in the world worth a visit!!!"

"Great food shared with great company! Kim and Mitch go out of their way to make everyone feel at home, remembering personal preferences for style of eggs(scrambled, over easy or sunny side up), toast (gluten-free, whole grain or white), sausages, bacon or ham. Their omelettes are delicious and they will customize them the way you want as well. It's like going home and Mom will make you breakfast just the way you want it!"
