"Me and my boyfriend visited Marktküche and believe this was the best (vegan dinner we have ever had. The whole experience was outstanding from beginning to the end. The food was extraordinarily tasty and we experienced surprising tastes and sensations in every course. Our whole experience started with the herb butter, which my boyfriend doubted to be vegan (this is how good it was! . We ordered the 6-course menu and believe this was perfect in terms of quantity and experience. We wouldn't go for less courses because the experience is simply too amazing and each additional dish made us incrementally happy. We also had the wine pairing which was perfectly matched to our dishes. Because we are both vegan, it was especially nice to experience a surprise tasting that usually lives from slow-cooked high-quality meat and fish creations. In my opinion, this was even better than any surprise tasting I had before I turned vegan. On a side note, the restaurant is located at the corner of a street and life was busy around us (bikes, people walking , yet, not loud or annoying to the experience. In fact, we especially loved this location and coziness/ relaxed atmosphere it brought us. Similarly, the whole team was extremely friendly and open for a chat. We really enjoyed this uncomplicated, homely atmosphere of such a fancy place, while still following the restaurant etiquette but adjusting to the guests needs. This is a really unique place. This is for all foodies, regardless of their diet!! We will definitely come back when we visit Zurich the next time."

"You notice that the kitchen and the service harmonize, our visit was as a whole a particularly beautiful experience. the courts are incredibly kreatiw and meet the time spirit. you can compile your menu yourself, so is not bound to dishes and counts courses. from fish to meat, vegetarian or even vegan is something on the map for everyone. Although I am absolutely not vegan, one of them has tasted me very much. from apéro to the night after eating (it was two:) everything was very great. I recommend the mesa with very good sense: upscale kitchen, but in a wonderfully relaxed local."

"This little restaurant is a gem, both in a historical and culinary sense it's a lovely experience all around. Prices are not the lowest, but still reasonable. There are always vegetarian options, but this probably isn't the first choice for vegans."
