"A well-known restaurant from Manslois we have lunch at h a lot of world, fast service a formula at noon with a multitude of desserts, dishes and a perso input I would have preferred to have a choice of entries we have taken menus ranging from foie gras is excellent homemade fries gourmet coffee very good thanks for this very nice moment and for our taste buds we will return"

"Excellent lunch, great service, family friendly, good value for money... 14.50 € for the lunchtime set menu... In the summer lovely shaded terrace by a little brook. "Servis après beaucoup d'attente, puis les plats arrivent "tenez" pas de "bon appetit" "cela a été?".... une serveuse maladroite brusque, qui tend lassiette ne fait pas le tour de la table (meme pour un enfant de 3 ans), ivre....? la femme du patron plutot sympathiqueLes entrees: plus que décevantes salade non fraîche (en sachet?) Foie gras mediocre, poil dans l'assiette, 3 minimes morceaux de saumon dans la salade au saumon fumé grillé. Steaks haches du menu enfant surgelés brûlés.Plats: tous servis avec les mêmes légumes ramollis, aiguillettes de canard avec un drôle de goût, plats quasi froids, faux fillet brûlé (au lieu de"bien cuit")Fromages tiedes Desserts de bonne présentation mais au gout décevant (creme brûlée au gout dorange trop prononcé)Produits pas frais, cuisine de tres mauvaise qualité ce soir, contrastant avec des echos positifs. Que sest-il passé????Medicaments(piluliers, anti inflammatoires pour chien) a portee d'enfants dans le bar. Choquant.Une soiree totalement gâchée, le pire repas jamais pris dans un restaurant, il faut le voir pour le croire. Dommage."

"We had passed by the road to this little place numerous times and finally happened to be at the right place at the right time! We were greeted and seated and informed of the menu and made our choices. There were two lunch menus, one of steak and chips with buffet starter and choice of dessert, the other a choice of chicken or bourganeuf also with a buffet starter and choice of dessert. The buffet was a selection of various pastas meats and vegetables and was very tasty. Mains were also tasty, the chicken served with a veg and herb sauce fell off the bone, and they served 'proper ' chips! Desserts were a choice of 5 and we opted for the Isle Flottant and a Normandy tart, both of which were fine. There was also a quarter litre of red wine included in the cost of the menus which were 15 euros for the steak and 12.50 for the other options. This is primarily an establishment for the working people to have a quick tasty and cheap meal, but is equally good for passers-by as we found! Don 't expect to be seated at a table for 2 or 4. The smallest lay out was for 6 and we shared our table with just one other gentleman. Others had the table to themselves. On the whole the service and food were of very good quality and we would definitely recommend, and return, to this place."
