"I enjoyed the best cod and chips I have had in ages from this small take away fish and chip shop in the centre of Alford. Everything was cooked whilst we waited, the fish was superb and the chips more than lived up to the very positive comments I had seen on this site in recent weeks. Amazing value too. Well worth a visit."

"I'm on holiday in Mablethorpe, and we fancied an Indian dinner. I looked online and found this place (note their website says they're in nearby Alford but they're now in Mablethorpe). I popped in the day before to pick up menus and check it out. I liked the friendly welcome from Joni on the front counter. We ordered quite a few dishes between 4 of us and I went to pick up. They were expecting me and knew my name, I like that. The food was excellent, every dish. My brother ordered a couple of things that I wouldn't normally, and I liked those too. All of us commented on the lovely mix of flavours. When I picked up food to take home, I noticed that their restaurant was full, that's always a good sign. They get 5 stars from me."

"Called in to get out of the rain. Owners were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble, they even gave the kids some gliders to keep them occupied. Great service, reasonable prices and the food and drinks were good quality and tasty. Would definitely recommend and we will be visiting again when in the area. Thankyou."

"Quirky little tea room/coffee shop offering something different in one corner of the Market Place. The clue is in the name the menu is Austrian themed and run by two friends who serve home made treats and make most of the crafts which are for sale in the shop. Their goulash soup with bratwurst is a steal at under £3, and makes a hearty lunch, while sweet items include stollen or apple strudel and cream for a mere £1.40. The cafe also offers gluten, sugar and dairy free products plus a range of healthy treats for dogs, including doggy beer! Service was on the slow side, but very charming!"
