"My wife and I are walking Hadrian’s Wall and staying in Brampton. Bistro 34 was a wonderful restaurant and we had the best meal so fall in England. Everything was outstanding. The vegetable soup was very tasty and the scallops appetizer was remarkable. Lots of vegetables with each entry. The duck and pork were very well prepared and presented The brownie dessert was a great ending to our meal. Even though we are hiking to Carlisle tomorrow we would consider returning here to dinner it was that good!"

"Weekday evening visit as a mothersday treat. The Sally was easy to locate, with parking to the front, side, and rear. There are two EV charging points to the front, too. The premises were very clean, decorated with a washed out beach feel, a mesmerising wood burner, well spaced tables, with outdoor eating to the rear. Toilets were very well maintained and fabulously clean. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and managed dietary needs effortlessly. Couldn't have asked for more. A wide range of foods available on the menu, all reasonably priced. The best meal out we've experienced for a while. I would definitely return and recommend. Thank you all."

"Local takeaway that has fast and polite service. However, the quality of the fish and the cooking of it is very poor. Fish is dried out and has no flavour, the batter is so greasey I can only assume the fat/oil is over used. Its unfortunate that I have leave this review, but I do hope that the owners reflect on all feedback"

"Had a 2 night stay to spoil my partner which was a real nice treat for both of us. A very good night's sleep no road traffic noise which was a bonus eould definitely recommend in my opinion the only thing that let it down for me was the evening menu. "I was not encouraged by our starters of onion bhaji and samosas which were very small and average. Howe your mains of lamb rogan and lamb korma were absolutely delicious if a bit on the small side. The rice and naan we had were also very well cooked. It was a bit pricey at £40 with no drinks though but I would go again but skip the started and get an extra main. Service: Dine in"
