"This wonderful hotel and restaurant is really very special. Owned by a family who clearly care deeply about every guests experience, along with staff who are rightly proud to work at The Tudor. My husband and I enjoyed a most wonderful stay as well as beautiful, well priced food. Amanda, the receptionist, is a superhero and we are sincerely grateful to her and all of the staff for a first class experience. We visited Bridgewater for a family party, but will return just for a stay in this fabulous hotel again. Thank you very much"

"Random choice, as been stuck in traffic on M25, then M4, then M5, and wanted to eat somewhere not on a motorway services! Only a few minutes from M5 and pleasantly surprised. Good food, good service and pleasant decor."

"Stopped here and hoc travelling through Bridgewater. Being in desperate need of coffee and breakfast we were seated quickly. Service was quite slow and indeed our orange juices never arrived. However the coffee and food were excellent. Good kids menu too and kids very welcome....Staff and customers with the exception of an old person who should know better really nice."

"This is an excellent restaurant at any time for any meal be it breakfast lunch or dinner, the staff are so helpful and friendly nothing is too much trouble. Last night we hired the venue for a private wedding celebration we had an incredible evening, the food was wonderful and the staff went above and beyond to make it a night to remember. I would throughly recommend the restaurant for both a lovely meal or for a private function."

"Had eaten in shanz for the first time on Thursday. the dame behind the theke was most helpful, as I'm the worst when it comes to Peri-Peri, quite undecided. "Really interesting dishes that for me were unusual and tasty. As an example the garlic prawns came in a tomato soup which was good on its own! "We celebrated our golden wedding day here on new years eve, from beginning to end we had a fantastic experience, the staff was wonderful, so helpful they could not do enough for us, the atmosphere was great, the foot was beautiful and the music well, we enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to everyone, we hope to go back this year."
