"Great little pub. Friendly, busy comfy and great atmosphere. Have loads of things on during the year. Beer fest, quiz nights and a beer belly race for charity. They brew their own beer too. Ole rosy is rather popular, unfortunately I'm not a beer drinker so can't comment."

"Probably the best coffee shop in Consett. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is freshly baked in the shop. I had a freshly baked scone and washed it down with a hot chocolate. My favourite place to go to chat up with friends in a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit"

"Had eaten there for the first time yesterday. it was devine. such a beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. eating is amazing. the chips were fabulous, the best I ever had. the personal is friendly and the shop was full of beautiful fresh products.
