"Every time we visit, the queue in the Sunbeam cafe is extremely slow. The issue is with the serving of drinks, where each hot tea/coffe takes a stupid amount of time to prepare. Sometimes there have been 5 staff at the drinks counter, but only one person is able to prepare drinks at a time. It badly needs a faster process, or more machines, or one person dedicated to each machine. The staff working the machines look inept, and seem to waste time doing nothing. Last time we were there, a nice lady was very occupied with putting a pull-out barrier between customers, as soon as they entered the cafe, then retracting the barrier, and putting it back immediately the queue (eventually) move on. It just fascinated me watching, somebody kept very busy, on a seemingly pointless exercise. Maybe she could have served drinks instead?! The food is OK, just fairly expensive, for what it is. Sometimes there are other outlets outside, for drinks, but these usually have queues, or don’t do hot drinks. Come on Brooklands, sort this long-term issue out, as it really spoils what would otherwise, be a perfect day out. It has been going on for FAR TOO LONG."

"We waited over an hour for two meals. It seemed like the kitchen staff got diatracted and almost forgot about our order. They did apologise and tried to make it up by giving our little one an ice cream. And they disnt have any of their roast diahes left by 6 pm apparently."

"Eating is perfect. it must be when it is £15 for a chocolate pudding, but it was so good I'd try to cycle here after dinner at home, only to it again, every night service excellent, although so attentive they stayed doubled on I can order their drinks etc. shortly after the other waiter had already taken."

"I took my mother here for a late Mother's Day lunch, we both had a baguette and then some scones. The food was amazing. Scones were served warm and were so delicious. The best I had. It was very clean. The whole experience was just beautiful. I love how girly and pink everything is. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It's my new favorite place and I can't expect to visit again."
