"We made a last-minute decision to eat out on Valentines night. We landed on the Magnet without a booking, and it wasn't a problem. The staff were all as lovely as ever and it turned out a few of our friends were eating so we were seated together. The Valentines meal offer was such great value for money that the food was outstanding the service was second to none. We all have a great night, and we're last to leave. This is our local, and we love it. But sometimes the staff need reminded how good they are at their jobs. 10/10"

"We ordered our food late at night and expected it to get here fast as it was before the closing time but it ended up taking an hour.When it got here it was dearer than anticipated and the food wasnt much better. It definitely wasnt worth the price, the curry was was like a lard of fat and the rice tasted burnt. I was so gutted to spend a lot of money on a crap chinese. Will never be ordering from this place again."

No airs or graces, the Border Cafe is a breath of fresh air....It quite simply is what it is and I love its honesty and heartyness. If you want a good old fry up, fish and chips or a burger and a can of coke, you will get it with a smile and a good price. Th staff are friendly, the food is exactly how it should be and it hits the spot on those days when you need food that sticks to your ribs and arteries."

"I was for a few drinks last night and eat for my high-time with my family. my daughter is autistic and I cannot explain how welcome the barmann marty made us feel in the chick. marty was so inviting for my child and generally made us feel special. I could hear him from other customers by recommending him on the menu, place to visit in the city. just a nice guy. I think the water foot should recognize their employees and appreciate them with a kind of token. I put that to the supervisor."
