"We ate in the henry’s bistro, which was beautifully decorated. chairs were comfortable, we have a window seat. Eating was delicious our waitress lesley was very helpful. my only complicity was that they did not do clobige chips just personal preference,) fortunately my girlfriend liked them exchanged them for a bratkartoffel her mother gave me also her) would highly recommend it."

"Just had fish and chips take away tonight Absolutely fabulous. Massive fish which was chunky crispy and dry. Lovely chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce. Long time since fish and chips so good. Full marks Thomas and your team. Will make it a regular occurance"

"Just popped in for a quick unplanned lunch. We got offered a number of places to sit and chose the bar area, with a nice fire blazing. We both choose from the the specials menu. I had the flat bread and my wife had the pulled pork sandwich. I raised an eye brow when the flat bread arrived. It was simply a piece of supermarket pitta, uncooked. On top of it we a few dices of overcooked pork, some pickles and a drizzle of sauce. I was affronted that this dish was £12 for an ingredient cost of less than a £1. I understand that restaurants are having a difficult time, but that goes both ways. If you are going to charge excessively, make sure the culinary experience matches. My wife 's pulled pork was on ciabatta, but the pork was excessively 'wet ', not because of the sauce, but simply the water content. As a result the bread was a soggy mess. On a positive note, the chips served with the pork were excellent. We finished our food in muted silence, I paid the £32 bill, but mentioned to the barman my concerns. He said he was sorry to hear that, and would pass my concerns to the chief ... Sadly, with money becoming tighter, we will think carefully on where we dine again. So disappointed, in what is a great venue,"

"Kids meals shocking value, had to order extra food for them as they where still hungry. Even the quality was poor. Wine very over priced too, on a good note tho service was good, and the roast dinner was very good"

"First time getting food here as moved to the area recently. Phoned the order through, asked for plenty of salt and vinegar and tartar sauce. Only one other person in queue, sit in looked almost full. Lots of staff. Place seems clean. Sit in food looked like big portions. Girl at till was not someone I would choose to greet customers, looked really unhappy to be there and not at all friendly. Paid for order and reminded re plenty of salt and vinegar. Waited quite a while (probably a good 20 mins from ordering on phone). The fish was ok, batter crispy, but not much flavour. Breast of chicken quite dry. No salt or vinegar on food and did not get tartar sauce, did not want to go back as had already parked ourselves by the sea. Chips not bad. I’d try it again to give another chance as there is nowhere else, but not in a hurry."

"There are two chippies in Donaghadee and Raineys used to be the more pleasant to go into. Not now. The owner has now developed severe attitude and no longer deserves ant custom. Any query as to the progress of an order gets met with pure aggression. I won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend any one else to do so either. He is a disgrace to this town."
