"Visited twice in the last couple of weeks, once for lunch with a friend snd today for breakfast with hubbie. Both times food was superb, hot and fair size portions, coffee is lovely staff are very efficient. Only took off a star because its not dog friendly, as others have said it would be great if a couple of tables near the door were dog friendly, its plenty big enough, many caravanners and motorhome owners do so because they can take their dog with them so if visiting to purchase a van or items from the shop its not great to have to leave your dog in the car/van when weather is bad, perhaps create an outside area with cover/ heaters is the way to go."

"We went for a stroll along the river and popped into the Angel Inn for some lunch. The pub was nicely decorated and the bar staff were welcoming and friendly. We brought our dog in too which is great as he comes everywhere with us....The food was excellent and home cooked, not pre-packaged and the price was good too! We will be back! https"

"Nice place. Nice room. Had no food, but tasting menu looked great. The afternoon tea menu looked brilliant. Easy down was bumpy way to get to the hotel and the immediate surroundings was a little rough, but this is not really the hotels fault. Maybe when the time goes in the street will be an area of improvement. The hotel itself is located in a restoration and you can see that the owners do a good job. The history of the building is really interesting. Staff are all brilliant and very friendly and polite. The room was immaculate like the ensuite that was beautiful. Very recommended and happy to return in the future."
