"I was going to leave a review on your Facebook page but for some reason I cannot work out how to do it. But honestly the carvery I had today was absolutely amazing and I used to work in a carvery for many years. The service was also spectacular, seated as soon as we arrived, drinks came very quickly, was told to wait for the restock of carvery which I find very good! (No one wants to only see a tiny bit of veggies in a dish on the deck) didn't wait too long either. Was definitely worth the wait! A massive choice of meats and vegetables which for me was out of this world. All meats were cooked to perfection, simply lent my fork on the meat and it fell apart all veg was very tasty too. Nothing seemed too much trouble at all. Plates were taken as soon as we had finished too. Always asked if everything was ok with our meals throughout. Even the carvery chef stopped to speak to us about the food at the bar as we were paying. I couldn't recommend this place enough and it's definitely not known to as many people as it should. I wouldn't have known about it if I hadn't spent 20 minutes looking for somewhere for Sunday lunch and I'm over the moon I've found this little gem hiding away in the fields we will be back without a doubt and I cannot wait to tell my family and friends about this place. The pub itself is very homely and cosy which I love the feel of. Everything all clean and tidy and all staff seemed very pleasant. Sometimes hard to find these days. "Unfortunately the lack of beef in the Stroganoff was a real disappointment in an otherwise lovely meal. The presentation was lovely and the rest of the meal was very good but will not order Stroganoff again at that price with a tiny amount of steak. Apparently the chef apologised for the fact that the usual amount of 200g may not have been measured correctly!"

"Outstanding- Quality starters, the king prawn thermadore is great. The mix grill is awesome, as were the two large steaks that were ordered at our table. The lasagne was defo homemade too… To finish we had a few deserts to share and they were equally...as good! 1st glass service even though we went on a busy bank holiday! Can’t wait to get back and try the Sunday roasts.."
