"We seem to have a very good amount of big pubs and restaurants within few miles of home, and the krone at messing is definitiw one. good eating and friendly staff. should have 5 stars, but parking a little small, although there kerbside parking near cheers."

"Service was shocking from the fella fiddling with the computer at the door, to the waiter that turned up screaming like Ramsay. Waitress was lovely. Good bang average, under cooked, warm at best and seriously over priced. Over all it is what it is. A Toby carvery ."

"Once a week My dad and I like to treat ourselves to a meal out. I have been eating at the Banquet for many year. But I would say in the past 6mnths each visit we have noticed the poor quality of the food. The last straw was last Saturday I ordered crispy chillie beef. All I can say was, it tasted stale. Was dark in colour so know it had been reheated. I sent it back, the manager came over and instead of saying I'm sorry wld you like a fresh one cooked? All he said was, I have a new chef!!!! Errrr and your point is?? So after spending £50 on a plate of noodles and some veg. That will be the last time we eat there. So sad as we loved the atmosphere, staff lovely. But when resturants cut corners like this I'm afraid your customers do notice..."

"A warm and cozy atmosphere and a good selection of food. I especially liked the choice of the plate size so that corresponding amounts of food are selected, especially if they have a smaller appetit. at this opportunity we had the meaty choice, although eating could have been hotter, there was a lot of it and the service was friendly."
