"The pub itself is very attractive. the winter garden it area less so. we came to the end of a busy lunch service and it showed. the workers, while very pleasant, clearly missing guidance and the whole visit was very disappointing, instead of the joy we were expecting. extremely limited menu. only fish and a burger available at 2 o'clock on Sunday. it was pointed out that the booking of a later table made it inevitable that the Sunday roast option would be sold out. we complained bitterly because there were no suitable alternatives and the waitress saved the day by referring to the kitchen to see if anything else could be offered that contains meat and vegetables. the food and the wine were very good in that. However, the overall experience was rather shocking for a device rated so high. I would neither come back nor recommend and the 3/5 evaluation is based exclusively on the quality of food and the willingness of the staff."

"We enjoyed a family meal at The White Hart, the ambiance and service were great , the food let it down a little! 3 of us had steak, which were delicious, however the vegetables on our plates were raw, you couldn’t get a fork into the carrots or broccoli, my other son had a Margarita pizza, but there was so much mozzarella on it that it was unpalatable, especially when it cooled down. I did mention the veg but not the pizza, as my son didn’t want to make a fuss."

"Had the ‘build a breakfast’ which was excellent, vegan bacon, sausages and scrambled tofu along with many other choices. They do a ‘build your own bowl’ for lunch and offer everything in a meat it vegan option. Breakfast was excellent, cafe was clean and bright, staff very helpful and friendly."
