"Ended up at the boat house twice this week. It was the perfect place to meet up with old friends and to grab a bite to eat. The food was lovely. Had the boathouse burger and salt and pepper bites, beef and ale pie, haloumi strips, fries and chicken bites with sweet chilli. Everyone really enjoyed their meals and said they would eat there again. Service was great. Would go again. Price per person: £10–20"

"Really great eating here, good atmosphere and good service. that is a great thing, because my dame is a very naughty eating, so if she said it was great, it must be like that. I had the steak pee, chips, heaps and gravy. the torte was noticeable, great baked, super thick cut chips, but for me the engraving was too thin. my good lady had chicken on a maic bed with a fine white sauce. I immediately knew it was good because she was all about it. That's what it's saying, it's really good."

"The flavours in every mouthful were a symphonic display of French culinary brilliance. Commencing with an amuse-bouche, a selection of delicious fresh baking accompanied the meal, and the second palate teaser, thoughtfully nestled between the starter and main course, seamlessly bridged the courses. Each dish evoked squeals of delight and intrigue as we endeavoured to identify and describe the intricate flavours dancing on our palates. The waiting staff were both attentive and abundant. La Boheme truly deserves a Michelin star. Given its popularity, I'd advise booking weeks, if not a couple of months, in advance."

"Not been here for 15+ years, when you used to be able to get 2 for £10. Ordered the sirloin £20, thought I was gonna get the usual pub standard food but honestly this was amazing, everything on the plate just tasted like quality. Will definitely be making the 30 mile trip to eat here again. "Great pub, but on my last visit with some friends who were vegan and veggies the menu was simply not for them, so we had to go and find another place. but the personal was very understanding and friendly about it and it will certainly not stop me and my partner from visiting this place. I stopped giving 5 stars pure for the vegetarian and vegan of this world x"
