"Best slow roast belly pork in the world! Absolutely beautiful! Crispy, salty crackling , soft, tender tasty meat. Black pudding mash and cider sauce was lovely, and the veg was bright, fresh and firm. The cheesecake was a triumph ! The table was overlooking a beautiful Welsh valley! Highly recommended! Thankyou. "Met small group of friends, none of whom had visited before. It was my second visit, the food was excellent quality. Staff were attentive and friendly. Hygiene in rest rooms was good. My friends loved the atmosphere all enjoyed every aspect of our visit here. Would commend the hard work of staff in their hard work and commitment to achieving such high standards. Would recommend!!"

"Went here for lunch absolutely amazing food! I usually struggle to find one thing on the menu but here I was struggling to decide between 5 meals! I eventually decided on the beef madras from the specials board which was absolutely lovely. My husband had the home made faggots which he said were the best he’s ever had! Also the homemade carrot and corriander soup for starter was really really good! Also good choice of lager and beers. Will be visiting again! Staff very friendly and informative of the menu as well as quick service."

"We had our wedding reception here. Kirsty was fantastic, she met with us 3times before the big day to make sure menus were all correct and everything was ready. She kept us up to date via text and was always at the end of the phone if we needed anything. On the day Gemma looked after us, she was AMAZING! Nothing too much trouble and all of our guests commented on how fab she was. The food came out table by table and was piping hot. Serving 50 people is not an easy task, but all the staff were friendly and regularly checked in to make sure we had condiments etc. The food was absolutely delicious!!! Empty plates all around!! We can't thank the wonderful staff enough for making our wedding day so special, and our family and friends fell in love with the place so much so they some back the following night for more!"

"Ordered on just eat after being very hung over from a night out in Cardiff. Only one showing on just eat for breakfast. This is the good news. The bad news is it took nearly 2 hours to get to me. Back to the good news it was lush and massive and greasy like you need. Would recommend."
