"We live in Pulborough and go to this restaurant regularly. We are very lucky to be able to walk there. The food is delicious. Our favourites are the flavourful and tender tamarind duck and the Panang Curry. We always order a side of steamed vegetables which are prepared expertly, fresh and firm. The employees are friendly and helpful...especially the amazing, First. She is wonderful."

"This is a great place for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. It’s a delightful setting, there is seating inside and out, and the food and drinks are superb. The friendly service just made the whole experience very rewarding, and I highly recommend it. I was pleased to see a Mum er of breakfast options, including granola with yogurt and fruit as well as the usual full-English. Great choice of lunches, sandwiches, and cakes."

"Our new favorite Indians. conveniently located on a29 codmore hill, right outside of pulborough. extensive menu and they prepare special dishes for them when asked. we call and gather; but there is a nice restaurant on the ground if they prefer to dive out. Eating is good quality, much of it and cooked fresh to order hot when collected. Average time is 30 minutes."

"Myself and my partner stayed here for a birthday get away and we couldn't have picked a better hotel, You could not fault the service as the staff could not have been more polite, accommodating and helpful, our room was beautiful and peaceful. We had our evening meal, which was for my birthday in their restaurant, the food and service was splendid, staff were ever so friendly and the food was amazing. We opted for the cooked breakfast which was an addition as continental is included in the price and again the food was cooked to perfection. Definitely a hotel to choose if you like a quality break away and we will see ourselves coming back again and again, also dining in the restaurant should we just wish to have a meal out of an evening. Rooms: Lovely decor, clean, tidy and well kept Food drinks: Splendid variety and cooked beautifully"

"Upon arrival and walking up the steps inside to order drinks; I asked the assumed operations director if they are serving drinks and food as the place looked rather derelict and previously open areas were closed with no signage. The gentleman confirmed they are serving food and drinks. I head to the bar and ordered drinks for myself and family (4drinks). The operations director quickly approaches me to let me know they need the table back in 45minutes after seeing my family and friends sitting outside apparently due to bookings inside and outside. I asked the gentleman again if he was sure it was fully booked and confirmed again it is. More and more couples and groups arrived without children and he was happy to serve them with no bookings. I feel this pub is clearly not family friendly even if you have well mannered children. Shame used to be nice !"
