"Very friendly and attentive staff. we came for Sunday roast, the very tasty was the bark was tender and simply cooked and the homemade nut roast was also very good. the sauce was thick and it would even be better if it was less salty for our pallets. the homemade blueberry french was exceptional."

"I pick lemon sorbet and mint chocolate, they are perfect matching. I have to say lemon sorbet is the best for summer, sweet and sour, you must try this favour. Mint chocolate is nice and fresh!"

"We spent last week in Hastings and came here with high hopes after reading some good reviews, and we were not disappointed! Such amazing burgers, great fries (the chilli ones are the best) and such an awesome atmosphere! Will be back as soon as we can organise another break away!"

"Myself and my partner visited Hastings for a little holiday, little did we know we would stumble across this amazing restaurant we didn’t eat in as we had somewhere to be however we couldn’t resist the look of the focaccia in the window! We ordered 2 slices and it was the best thing I have ever tasted. Very authentic Italian and freshly made, I’m just sad it’s so far away from where we live as I would eat here everyday if I could! The pizzas looked amazing and I would definitely revisit Hastings just to go back here : the staff were super friendly and the service was brilliant"

"If I could give 6 stars I would. Best place in town. Friendly staff, the food is amazing, and not too expensive. I am never disappointed. Very cool, lovely and happy people, makes all the difference. BTW best roast by far"

"I have had the lamb tangine not long after the restaurant opened near my home and it was gorgeous cuisine . They even catered to my request and I enjoyed the,off menu, beautifully done flatbread rolls."

"Lovely, friendly restaurant!! My first expiernce at rustico with the family, will be returning again soon. I rang prior to our booking as I can only eat gluten free meals. The manager was very helpful over the phone and took the time to attend to...my every need. Lovely atmosphere, greeted as soon as we got to the front door, smiles all around. Waitresses were very kind and friendly and one even gave my children colouring pencils, to keep them busy while we waited for our food. We look forward to coming back to rustico, thank you. "
