"I took my partner here for her birthday, it was a Wednesday lunchtime. It had just opened and we were one of the first in. We was greeted by a lovely gentleman and taken to our table, it soon got busy but that didn’t stop the waiter (who I believe to be the owner) remembering who was in order. The food came out in great time, the service came with a smile and good conversation. Everything we needed was catered for. The food was delicious and we enjoyed every moment. I would definitely recommend this place looking for authentic Italian at a great price. Thank you Billy! "The rainbow is really Lancings only basic cafe but has a good range of food which has always been served pipping hot. Saturday i had the steak and kidney pie with veg and it was totally filling and I felt like i had eaten which is not always the case when i eat out."

"Very disappointed tonight. Pre ordered 4:18pm this evening to have my order cancelled on a Saturday Night at 5:45pm We live two minutes away so I drove round there to place my order in person. Lady at counter said they have too many orders tonight. They usually take 80 and they’ve had 55 already. Why mine couldn’t be number 56 I do not know. Unfortunately it’s the best Chinese in Lancing but feel very disappointed with their attitude to regular customers. They’ve also turned their phone lines off to not take anymore orders either. This isn’t the first time we’ve had our order cancelled but we’ve been patient and waited for the service to become available again. We’ve now gone for a curry instead. My thoughts would be if you can’t cope with demand get more chefs or don’t allow pre orders or get a bigger premises."
