"Friday night, girly catch up. 17.30 meet up, place was empty but got busier later. Drinks were priced well. They had lots of vegetarian option, my friend had the paneer curry, she didn't eat it as the paneer was not cooked. I ordered a coconut roti. It came out looking like an uncooked quorn burger, but I gave it a go. Instead of a mild bread, I got scotch bonnet pepper pieces. Even my friend who likes spicy, had one bite and refused to eat it. We got an apology and not charged as this had been a mistake. The garlic bread and the side dish of yellow potato curry (not even on the menu) we're the best things. I had chicken mild curry, it was thigh meat and wasn't great, its not like me to leave food. The presentation was fantastic. I just wish the food tasted as good as it looked. Pudding, chocolate fudge cake, and ice cream, thank the heavens for this as I was hungry. I hate to slate a small independent business, but I have to be honest in all my reviews. To improve the menu, I would have better descriptions of the dishes. Some people won't touch thigh or leg meat of chicken. 3 of us all agreed we wouldn't come back, that's never happened, one of us at least likes the places we visit on a monthly catch ups."

"Harappa has become our go to takeaway. We have always enjoyed eating in but recently, with not going out, the boxes are the way to go. Today we tried the kebaby. What a fantastic, tasty, hot, plentiful meal. We normally have the Nessa box but fancied a kebab tonight. What a delight. Delivered in good time, hot, more food than we could eat in one session. "I went here with my wife and children and aesthetically the cakes looked delicious. For 2 slices of cake and a glass of milk it was £14 which is extortionate. "Its such a shame to be writing this as we have visited this restaurant many times over the years…. However, we will not be returning. Although the food was lovely, our issue comes with their menu changes and the service charge they bang onto the bill. A year ago you received your main meal with a side of salad and rice or bread. The prices and portion sizes were reasonable. However, after visiting last week for a mid week meal, we discovered that your main meal now comes with nothing else. Nothing. I ordered a mixed kebab and I got 2 skewers on a plate. A smaller portion of rice that used to be included with the meal is now an extra £4!! So after ordering a couple of side dishes each to make our main course into a meal, all of a sudden your main meal is over £20. Which is expensive for what you get. On top of this, when the bill arrived, they have now introduced a 10% service charge. I understand restaurants may not be making as much money as they used to, but pulling little tricks like this will see your customers disappear due to greed! The restaurant is not as busy as what it used to be, and after eating here last week I now know why."
