"We are from out of state and wanted to go out for dinner after a long day of fishing. We were optimistic from the reviews, however after experiencing this place we will never be back. First off, the staff and service was wonderful at the table. They were at a lull so someone was able to get to us quickly, however they were displeased that four of us came in at once at 5 pm. The food was delivered in a timely manner and in a fashion that we all could eat at the same time which was nice. I ordered the fried chicken, fried okra, and fried pickles for the table and it was extremely lackluster and disappointing. Everything lacked seasoning and flavor. The chicken was prepared in a way that the egg wash, flour, and bread crumbs were not seasoned whatsoever. All you could taste was the plain right out of the package cracker itself. The chicken was not even seasoned before being coated. We had to add seasoning to the chicken. Not restaurant quality prepared at all.... The grilled chicken was bone dry and had no smoke. The Mac and cheese was gummy like it was prepared in the afternoon, sat in a warmer, and reheated to serve. For the price you pay, it was astronomically underwhelming and disheartening. Will never recommend this place to anyone. Don 't waste your money!"
