"My wife and I have always gone to this restaurant to eat for years. We love to eat at Denny’s. The place looks great now that it has been renovated, it was about time. What upsets me now is that after going into the restaurant with a cup in my hand which I have been doing for more than 15 years was told by the waitress I cannot have it. I’ve gone into the restaurant on Sunday evening carrying in my cup and wasn’t told anything. We go back five days later on a Friday night, on my birthday to have dinner and was told I cannot bring in the cup. I am very upset that this occurred. I asked for the manager. Manager comes to me and tells me I cannot have the cup. I asked why I was not told before. Manager didn’t know why I wasn’t told about bringing in a cup. I can understand rules can change, but it wasn’t enforced that Sunday night when I had dinner. In matter of fact I had the manager that night at my table and she did not say anything to us. I had a manager come over because I had a complaint about a T bone steak and three eggs that I had ordered. The steak was well done when I asked for medium rare and I received two eggs instead of three. They always messed up on the egg order and make me wait for the third egg. I don’t say anything most of the time and always leave a tip no matter what."
