"Ricky’s Hot Chicken! Can we say, the fire! Ricky’s Hot Chicken is the FIRE! I live in Melissa TX and have hearing all this talk about Nashville Hot Chicken. Saw it on tv, social media and at the water cooler in the office. Now I consider myself a connoisseur of the yard bird. A professional chicken consumer since I was knee high to a duck. Ricky’s Hot Chicken is so good, it was still hot and crispy filled with delicious goodness when I got back to Melissa TX. My family and enjoyed the hot Sauce soaked slices of bread. We were not able to finish it all in one sitting. We returned days later to finish it off. After being refrigerated we popped it in the toaster oven to heat up and it was just as good as it was on the first day. Ricky’s Hot Chicken is in my Fav Five for Hot Chicken. "If I could give them negative stars I would. Ordered catering and basically got two whole containers of mostly rice. The “spiced” chicken was just boiled shredded up chicken. The lamb literally was not eatable. I called for a refund and they straight up refused to give me one although I had to throw away all the food."

"First impression was kinda rough. Table presentation as we're getting seated wasn't bad . When I was told I have to cook my own meal yes went south quick. I'm not saying it can't or won't be a good experience. But I do most of the cooking at home last thing I want to do is go out to dinner and cook my own meal. Probably should of done more research. You're better off going to a Teppanyaki or like some would call it a hibachi. So my issue with this place was the restaurant seems run down . From the floor to the ceiling from dining area to restrooms. The exhaust fans over the grills don't work so the place is full of smoke. Best way to explain it would be go to your grille at home and bring it inside the kitchen and cook on it if that doesn't help paint a picture then you may need to stop by this place. I'm not saying I wouldn't recommend a Korean BBQ place to dine in just not this one. The waiter was extremely nice and was attentive unfortunately that had little impact on my experience here. Don't recommend coming here. ????????"
