"Went to Kokomo to try out their plant-based creamsicle milkshake. It was incredible both in flavour and in price at $12. I chased that with a buffalo wrap which didn?t disappoint either. Service was friendly and quick. The restaurant was very clean. Pricy health-food spot but you get what you pay for!"

"While we worked in my friend's house over the street, we decided on a Deli sandwich for lunch one of the days and coffee on some of the other days. the Italian deli bungalow was highly recommended. they make them fresh whatever meat and cheese you want. You have to try. They also have outdoor seats for beautiful days."

"I go to this place sometimes because I really like the vibes, the staff and the ambient. I didn´t order the brunch (yet) because I love their toast bread. It remains my hometown in Brazil. But I certainly, I´ll!!Food&Drink: I ordered the toasted bread and mochaccino, but they serve brunch till 3pm and everything seems delicious! The sourdough bread was perfect, and the mocha (for me) was good but strong – I had to add more sugar lol. Also, they aPrice: It's fair and affordable. My order was around 11 (without tips).Customer Service: The staff always is gentle. After ordering and paying, you have a sit and wait for them to bring your order to the table. The playlist is good as well, and I was surprised when I heard Brazilian music (Bossa Nova) playing. It totally reminds Brazil.Space: The place is modern but has something vintage style, and everything matches each other. They have a little patio outside. It has a beautiful rustic, with picnic tables, benches and hit.Cleaning: It was okay, as it should be.Location: It's at a busy Zona; I did walk there. Those familiar with the area know it is difficult to find a park, especially during the day. If you are lucky, maybe you can park around. "This Nuba Gastown is the worst place we have ever been. It is nothing like the Nuba Yaletown. We waited 20 mins before finally getting served. Don’t know her name she was friendly, but seemed like a deer caught in headlights. She took our order which was hummus and pita appy, dinner was a Grilled Mixed Mezze for 2 people. Also a bottle of Rose’ which was the bright spot of our dinner. We got all our food before even getting our wine which came 5 mins later. Waitress did a disappearing act after we got our wine. I don’t mind pouring my own wine, but the whole dinner. She finally came by at the end of meal asking how it was, told her a grilled meal means it comes out hot or at least warm. Says I’ll tell someone. You would think a manger would come by and say sorry. Nope. Travis was a waiter serving other tables and realized we were not be looked after. So he took it upon himself to help us out.if anyone reads this and choses to try this place make sure you ask for Travis as I noticed he really looks after his tables. It seemed to us our food was served from a buffet or was leftovers sent from the other Nuba’s which are in high end neighbourhoods. We chose this one because it was close to Queen ElizabethTheater before the play. This is the first bad review I have ever done. I don’t like doing it, but if no one comes too ask or apologies then this is the only way to get point out to NUBA Gastown. ."

"I have been to Bjorn cafe twice before because of their “amazing” tomato soup. Today I was looking forward to have the soup again. I was terribly disappointed because the soup was beyond salty. IT WAS NOT EATABLE, believe me I tried. When informed the staff about it, we didn’t get the nicest response. They were kind of like “ yeah it’s salty we know”. Did not offer any solution or anything at all. As I said before this was not what I had the two previous times and the staff seemed not to care at all. We left our bowls almost full and left the cafe. The reaction of staff was very poor and they didn’t seem to care about the feedback at all. They will probably keep serving it to other people. Very very disappointed today!"
