"We decided to use skip the dishes and tried this “restaurant” for our order. Big mistake. The appetizers (beef dumplings and barbecued shrimp) were just ok shrimp was rubbery and beef dumplings actually had a reasonable taste but were cold. The mango salad consisted of some awful creamy kind of lettuce topped with a few strands of mango pieces. The flavour was indescribable but definitely not fresh tasting nor tasty. The basil beef and basil shrimp dishes consisted of a few pieces of tough spicy meat some rubbery little shrimp with the remainder of each container filled with onion and just a scrap of green and red peppers. Overall I would say this is the most disappointing meal I have experienced in a very long time. Skip the dishes would be wise to delete this restaurant from its list of available places."

"My husband and I went to Orchid Sushi yesterday for dinner and we were very surprised at how good it was! It is so hard to find a good sushi place in Ottawa. We are used to eating the best sushi in Montreal and it's been hard to find a place here. But now we have found the place to go to! And the chef and owners were super nice!! And it's very reasonably priced! We'll definately be heading back there soon for my brothers birthday!"

"Quality of sashimi was above anything I expected! Sushi and miso soup was delicious and satisfying. The service was prompt and food came out at a decent speed....would definitly come back again!"

"We decided to order from Banc Sushi, via Skipthedishes, ordering was good, large menu, many different sushi rolls to choose from. The food was mediocre, sushi rolls are quite large, very awkward to eat and there was about a cup of panco...flakes on our reels dumped, not very nice and quite chaotic. I don't think we'll order them again."

"I ordered a grilled chicken mango poké bowl (plus avocado, ucumber, lettuce and rice) last night. One would have expected there to be a reasonable amount of mango, given the name of the bowl. In fact, there was a miniscule amount of mango, maybe 1 teaspoon worth, at the most, and it was cut up into tiny pieces and buried under the rice. There was an equal amount of avocado and I don 't think that I found any cucumber. There was about 80% rice. I have had the fish poké bowls in the past from this location and they were good so I was surprised and disapointed at what I was served last night. The grilled chicken strips were good, though."
