"When my wife and I arrived in Brides les Bains a few days before I was to begin a 3-week "slimming spa" treatment (with MD prescription), we ate 2 or 3 lunches at this indoor-outdoor restaurant smack in the center of the village, next to the Mercure Hotel and the Spa. It is run by the town's municipal Casino and in France, as often in the USA, this means good food at reasonable prices plus of course excellent wine and beers. The lunch suggestions and especially the Salads were great and we saw others with beautiful grilled meat or fish dishes as well. One day we splurged on a scrumptious "crème brulee" dessert - mouth watering... Do reserve a day ahead as this is one of the town's most popular restaurants for lunch since it is so close to everything and has a beautiful terrace."
