"I am a regular visitor to Porquerolles and visit the island most Easter ' 's and Summer, this was my first visit to the CALANQUE together with my wife and two children aged 22 and 14. The service was non existent, the waitress rude and the way the menus were presented by dropping, them onto a dirty table really should have forewarned of things to come. The food took an age to arrive, the two chicken dishes were stone cold as were also Mussels. My hand burger was just about tepid although the bread was stale. The manageress was called over to complain about the chicken dishes being cold and most abruptly removed the two dishes to be subject to the Microwave, returned rudely totally ruined and dried out. There was no apology and again another wait for the bill. Upon having to personally go to the till/desk to pay I again complained to be met with no apology just a carefree Shrug of the shoulders. There are plenty of better places to eat. Give this restaurant a very wide berth!"
