"Nice little place! We were walking down the beach looking for gluten free options. Gluten free options are NOT listed on the menu, but I think we spoke to the owner and he was very knowledgeable about gluten. He said the majority of their menu was naturally gluten free (with the exception of a few steak items that had flour in the gravy). All of the fish is fresh, done on the grill, and he said only “seasoned” with oil. I’m not sure how much they are aware of cross contamination risks but should be low given their menu items."

"This was a terrible place to eat. I went there with my family and the place was deserted during lunchtime, which was already a bad sign but we went in nonetheless. This was a really bad idea. The waitress was extremely rude and responded back...in a way that we considered leaving after we complained mildly about the quality of the bread. I had one of the worst ameijoas a bulhao pato that I have ever tried in Portugal. The squid was also tiny and mostly under-cooked, with a salad that was basically old lettuce, half a tomato and tiny two strips of onion. Other dishes were either overcooked or under-cooked. The appearance of the dishes was poor and the taste dismal. The waitresses, the cooks and apparently the owner spent the time arguing and shouting at one another about the service or something related to the food. Considering the awful quality of the food this is not surprising, but at the same time created a really uncomfortable environment. The probably best thing about the restaurant was that it was relatively clean. The food was also overpriced, and the fish was as fresh as I am the president of Zambia. The following day two adults were feeling some sort of stomachache and my daughter had diarrhea. Really, really terrible. Avoid at all costs."
