"We had reservations at Ruths Chris for Christmas dinner and they could not open due to low water pressure. We didn't know what to do, we are from out of town. I found Sp Brazilian Steakhouse was open and made reservations. It was wonderful and made our day. Great food and service!"

"The restaurant mentions that there is only a 5 minute grace period for a reservation. For a restaurant that mentions such a policy, I would expect that the table would be ready when I arrive on time but no, my group of 3 was made to wait for 15 minutes before we got a table and we got a table of 7 for a group of 3. The service was sometimes extremely slow. In between our 2nd course (salad) and 3rd course (entree fondue), there was an extremely long wait. The server came and assured us that it’ll only be 3-4 minutes more at a point and it took 15 minutes more. All in all, we probably had to wait for 30 minutes between the courses which is not acceptable. Once the 3rd course came, all it had was cold dippers (probably taken out from the fridge) so really not sure what took so long."

"You can have good food, but be careful when ordering by Favor. One of the items we ordered (soup baguette) was not in the bag during delivery. The Favor driver shortly after the delivery that never responds. Left a phone message for Soup Peddler say that the item was not in the bag when received. No callback. Had to call back a few days later, when the Soup Peddler rep (Ellie) said that the non-inclusion of an article was a joint responsibility between Soup Peddler and Favor and that we had to Favor (which we already had by trying to contact the driver). Soup Peddler wouldn't take responsibility for the missing thing or make restitution. It was not worth chasing someone at Favor for a $10 refund as they would probably not take responsibility and would have the people at Soup Peddler who put the order together. So let the customer be careful unless you want to see a lot of fingers between SP and Favor. For us, this lack of responsibility shuts down any future patronage of their company."

"Ordered the pepperoni pizza. The pizza is advertised as Detroit style. It has a thick crust, similar to deep dish. The taste was fair. A little bland. Feels like you’re eating mostly crust."

"This review is going to be my all time favorite. Before a long road trip, I decided to try a new place and Yelp'd a venue where I was at, at the time and this venue popped up. I walked in and two adorable, nice, kind young ladies approached me, and I was able to pick any table or sit at the bar, so I chose the bar. As I was reading through the menu, I was talking out loud on what the soup of the day was and the kind bartender started sharing what it was and OMG, it was someone I hadn't seen in over twenty years....it was this beautiful soul, beautiful friend, Rosi; this precious lady hadn't aged and still super awesome. Anyways, back to the venue and food I ordered a cosmopolitan and the soup/salad combo. So delicious, so decadent. I can't wait to return for another nice occasion. I loved the decor, loved the service, loved the food, loved the martinis, YOU MUST GO TRY THIS PLACE ASAP!"

"Some of the best food in Austin! You have to try this place. The flavors are amazing! The chefs are artists. The staff is friendly and engaging. They really care about your dining experience. Our waiter, Greg, was fantastic! Pictured below). Ask for him and you won’t be sorry. We had the Gorgonzola ravioli, pimento cheese dip, and the Texas fried shrimp. also pictured below). I’ve had fried shrimp many times but what they serve here is hands down the best I’ve ever had! I hated pimento cheese, but can’t stop eating it here. Even their sides are delicious. Check it out! You won’t be disappointed."

"Meal was delayed over two hours and wasn’t busy. Spouses meals arrived and then other two meals came 10 minutes later. Halibut was way over cooked in pan and required a knife to cut. Filet mignon was cold and had to be returned for reheating. Very loud musical duo in lounge were noisy distraction."

"We purposely selected this restaurant for its 4.75 star rating. The food was okay but I won’t go back. Average at best. Overall I was very disappointed certainly not a near 5 star experience."
