Had a lovely relaxing Afternoon Tea here and wasn't disappointed. The Hengist is a modern but lovely old building and the staff were very attentive. The food was good I particularly liked the quiche that came with the sandwiches. The cakes were delicious too. I have one criticism, the scones were overcooked and therefore hard, however the waitress replaced them for us. I would definitely go back there. read more.

We were seated upstairs and unfortunately had to move as they had a private party downstairs and the music was extremely loud.
