Two of us ate well here. It's usually safest to eat pub food when in a pub but I had wild boar ragout and it was great - well cooked and served, with not too much or little of anything. The beer selection has gone downhill, it's still well looked after but they have lost an edge they had over competitors.Very good service makes this a nice escape. read more.

Other people in our group liked their meals (burgers, salmon)But our meal pork pizza was tasteless all i could taste was flour/dough, even checked the bottom to make sure it was cooled properly. Someone we where with had the steak, order medium but came out rare- too raw for him to even eat. I would return to try something new but just wouldnt get the pizza.
