We love uncle Julio’s, we normally share the steak and chicken fajitas for 2. we saw there was a new option to upgrade the steak to filet so decided to try it. Unfortunately the filet, unlike the regular steak, was very spicy so we didn’t enjoy it, we just wish that it had been noted on the special that the filet was spiced differently than the steak, or it had been mentioned by the waitress. A.k.a dressings are more fish sauce and acid-based, which is delicious and refreshing, but still tasteful. when I first visited, I think it was one of the owners who worked the front so that there was a little more love in the salat than my new visit, but the employee helped me this time was still very friendly. the chicken salad is always a winner and they can choose how sharp they want it. they also have a series of vegan dressings and various protein options or even a kicherbsen curry when they look different. the star of my visit was this time the buttersemolina cake. this cache was so soft and creamy with a warm fat syrup, and the nuts and light texture of the smolina really works in this cake. an extremely decadent way to finish and otherwise light meal"
