My spouse and I visited for lunch over Thanksgiving weekend. A real 'diner experience '. Owned and operated by an older couple. Simple, yet good food. Very large portions, very inexpensive. We liked our club sandwich and rueben sandwhich. Served with fresh onion rings/crispy fries. I would agree that the space could use an update; however, the food was good and the older owners were lovely. read more.

The restaurant also offers the possibility to sit outside and have something in nice weather.

You will find the hostess very friendly, chatty and remembers your name. The big breakfast is the best for your buck. The lunch is average. However, over time it has been noted that the dinner selections and especially the soups leave a lot to be desired. "Pleasantly surprised. Very nice patio with view of the lake and island. A chill atmosphere and fresh and clean decor. I had pickerel fish and chips, my friend had veggie burger dinner. Both better than expected. A perfect spot for lunch on a hot summer day while passing through."

"Ordered 2 dozen salt and pepper wings and pick them up came home open the package and there was only 16 wings and not 24 in the bag. Wings were very good it's too bad I didn't get the 24 I ordered"

"This is a cozy home town restaurant and bar that has a country feel. They have a main menu as well as weekly rotating menu for specials. I had the ribs and slaw here and it was 10/10. Perfect sauce to rib ratio. The ribs were fall off the bone and the home values corn bread tied it all together.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp and lower tables to accommodate wheelchairs"

"Took friends for dinner there in October 2022. The food was good. They never showed us a drink menu, ordered red wine. Cost $22 a glass, could have gone next door to LCBO and bought the same wine in a bottle for $20. Service was slow and not very friendly. Extremely disappointed, will not return and do not recommend."

"Easy customer service and waiting times. I've been through the window in the last 10 minutes. No one has come into the window to say that there is a waiting time, even if I have already placed my order and are still waiting in the drive as I type it. It's not the first time, or the second time! You really need to hire better staff and train better! There are not many food options in Lindsay especially with Drive-Through Your company should be the best service to attract customers, but who wants to go there if you need to wait ridiculous waiting times."
