"We had dinners at AnTon and both were amazing! Thai soup and pork bake for starters were really tasty. We also enjoyed pork medallions and black pudding mains. Ingredients are fresh, meat is cooked beautifully and everything looks great on the plate. But what...makes this place amazing is the warm, welcoming atmosphere and lovely service. We don't speak German but that wasn't a problem at all. The guy behind the bar the landlord? is truly a legend! Thank you for making our evening such a laugh! We couldn't recommend you enough"

"We were spontaneously in the Klosterschänke today. The man chose the restaurant and I must say it was a very good choice. There is a very nice beer garden and since the weather was still great today, we sat outside. It is also great that there is a small playground for the Kiddies. Our children weren't with us, but it's great anyway. We have always thought about coming to Sunday brunch. I'm going to dinner. The menu is small and fine and there are also seasonal dishes on an extra card. It is also very large that the allergens were shown at each court. So I was able to make my choice as a gluten allergy disease. I had the big salad with roasted salmon and feta, and the man had the carving with spices and fries. Everything was tasteful and delicious! Prices are moderate and very good. All in all a Kleinod in the middle of Dresden. We'll be back."

"Reading reviews on Tripadvisor and from what the staff told us, local patrons seem to think this place is OK. Maybe we are too fussy, but it seems to us that the Chef was trained in North Korea, had browsed through an untranslated Nouvelle Cuisine book...but never got the concept.6 course menu, € 89.00 - seemed fine. First course: (thick) slices of roast beef (supposed to be wagyu but doubt it) announced with mandarin (turned out to be kumquat) and coconut mousse. Hum. The fish course announced as seabass with octopus (why not?) turned out to be solid state section of octopus leg stuck on a piece of overcooked fish. The rest of the dinner was of the same desperately wrong style, main veal course inedible.The whole exercise to the tunes of a one-year old baby that the parents took turns in taking out for a shake so that the other half of the couple could return to his or hers all-important SMS messages. Service staff were very kind and over-polite genuinely asking 'Schmeckt's?' after each course in such an earnest manner that we did not have the heart to tell them how awful it was. What this (very nice) place needs is a real restaurant manager and a new chef."

It was just true everything, very tasteful decoration, elaborately covered board, very friendly welcome with congratulation and fresh flowers, champagne reception, very delicious food with high quality food....
