A wonderful birthday lunch for my husband. We live an hour and a half away but Simon Pearce is his favorite place to go. The very nice gentleman who seated us, was aware we were disappointed at our original table, moved us to the “best seat in the house”......on the porch, in the corner, overlooking the waterfall. We decided to give Simon Pierce another chance for lunch, as the food wasn’t very good the last time either. The crispy chicken was not crispy and was basically 3 sesame crusted chicken fingers. The cold noodles were good however. Mom’s shepherd pie was way overcooked and burned on the top edges.
