The place looks great after the refurb. We waited a little while for our drinks order to be taken and then we were told our mains were ready when it appeared we hadn’t yet finished starters. We arrived early and welcomed in. A waitress sorted out our wobbly table by stuffing napkins under but it did the trick. I ordered a salad to be told they had run out of salad. Ridiculous at 7 pm at night. I ordered fish and chips which was delicious but not what I wanted. Service, food and ambiance all ok but nothing special.
