In Europa platz, on the south side of town sits Leonardo's. We visited three nights in succession, the food was so good. Choose the terrace, so that Antonio, the senior waiter, can serve you. The staff are all very attentive and the food is the best Italian we have had. Leonardo opened a site in Lienz about 20 years ago. This is newer. Awards have come their way, and rightly so. What Martin H doesn't like about Pizzeria-Da Leonardo:
A seafood dish with three prawns and pizza that was soggy did not match the hype of a world champion pizza restaurant. The prices were favourable but the service was slow, food below par and when I complained my pizza was not quite cooked that was the end of the service. If not for the prices and setting I would have given 1 star. We ate and were served much better elsewhere. read more.
