"All of the four cookies we had were very hard. Staff were having fun taking pictures, which is fine but may have overbaked a lot of the cookies being inattentive."

"Food was amazing. If you get the Sunday special future and khati khati the sauce that the chicken sauce has is the bomb! Fried African delight delicious. Rice has ton of flavor. We got regular but I wish I had ordered mild or hot but it was for my 6 and 9 year old. One dish can be shared with two people. The Ndole was different but worth a try. The collard greens have great taste. Haven't tried boiled plantains but it was pleasant combination together. Another thing to try is the imported beer."

"That was a good meal. The edges of the crust were somewhat cooked for my pleasure, but still very edible. Most of the meal was properly cooked and very good. The guys behind the counter keep it pretty funny and a good atmosphere. A good fast meal."

"Sat and waited and waited and waited inside for our very simple 2 person order for quite a long while. All while watching car after car after car go thru the drive thru. When we FINALLY got our order it was warm but definitely not hot. It apparently sat for a while because we came inside instead of going thru the drive thru. Very disappointing for Chic-fil-A."

"Honestly I used to really love this place a few years ago. We’ve been coming frequently the last 4 years. It was at one point our go-to meal spot. The last few years however, we’ve began noticing a very consistent decline in food quality. Tacos would come out missing ingredients almost every time, we’d order chips and salsa and it would take way too long, and then come out cold and short almost as if we were handed someone else’s leftovers. This was consistent over the course of a number of times. Same story with the queso it came out multiple times so cold it was thick and hard on top. We complained about it before and they just microwaved it for us, which if this were what I was paying for I’d rather do it at home. I’m writing this review after some friends of mine went again and said the same thing, that they think they use leftover and reheated food which is disgusting if true. Really disappointed. I hope this place gets their act because at one point it was a favorite. I was told that their other location here does a significantly better job so I may go try that soon. I would like to try this place again and update my review, but honestly it’s going to be a long while before I even consider coming back. My last couple experiences were absolutely awful. Also, I hate the fact that they make you tip them before getting your food, because the last couple times my food took forever and a few times I’m pretty sure they actually just forgot about me. I tipped 20-25% each time and left wishing I hadn’t."

"What happens when there's a frito shortage? The wonderful people from Chopped and Sliced BBQ improvise and create this fun take on a traditional frito pie using Honey BBQ Fritos (minus the cheese for me ! Let me tell you about how this happened and how awesome these people are: I ordered a regular frito pie with no cheese because I can't have dairy. There was a mistake and the one I had received had cheese on it but I didn't notice until I was home. I gave them a call and they let me know they had given out the last of their fritos and informed me of the shortage, but they had some Honey BBQ Fritos they could use instead and even offered to bring it all to me! I agreed and met them there instead since I don't live far at all (and because of how kind they were! . They rushed over to their other location to make it and had it ready by the time I got there. I was thrilled to have has such a great experience and was excited to try this twist on frito pie since the honey bbq ones are some of my favorite chips. And let me tell you... it's SO Yummy!! Everyone needs to know that they have THE BEST frito pie in town (Yes even better than Bighams who once gave me one with a bolt the size of my finger mixed in- but that's a story for another time? . The frito pie from C&S BBQ comes with one side. There's also pickles and onions mixed in it so if you don't like them, just ask them not to add it but they complement so well with everything if you do like them! All this to say, go getcha some great BBQ (and maybe wait a couple days if you want frito pie specially so a shipment can come into Lubbock ! ?"

"Eat here for the first time! Came to the lunch buffet. Very wonderful. The server was very attentive. I just wanted typical pizzas. Like pepperoni, sausage, ham. You had great cakes for my Bland palette. Like Thai Basil Pizza. Love Thai food! Just not the merger."
