We went to Rum Runners for dinner while visiting Lunnenburg. We made reservations for a Saturday night in July, but it wasn't necessary and we got a table on the deck/patio. The evening was warm and the view was beautiful. We started with drinks - we tried the Dark read more.

When the weather is pleasant you can also eat outside, and there is complimentary WLAN.

What User doesn't like about Rum Runner Restaurant & Lounge:
I think the other reviews of this restaurant must be purchased. This was a horrible experience with all three of our meals being bad. The chowder was horrible, way too saturated with flour, the salad was dripping with Ceasar dressing so badly it was a little bit of romaine with your dressing. We won't be back. read more.

"There's nothing missing from this place. Quality coffee made properly by friendly people. I especially like that they've teamed up with 2 of the area's finest establishments for their baked goods and lunches. The atmosphere they've created in a refurbished barn is welcoming and comfortable, spacious and cozy. I'd move in if I could."

"Friday night dinner and place was packed. Only 2 waitresses and a bartender. Very small place but on waterfront. They asked if we had reservations. We are traveling so no we didn't. No one in line did either so some people left. Food was good. The seafood linguine was good And the seafood stew was as well but not the best we have had in this trip. Waitress forgot our second drink order. She was apologetic and severely overworked and very nice. Places that want or require reservations need to post that on their websites. Saves everyone a problem. Even though we got a table after about a 10 minute wait, I feel that needs to be disclosed BEFORE an unsuspecting traveler chooses a place to spend their evening.Parking: Parking on street is free after 6pm. Meter paid before."

"There should be some way for the elderly and handicapped to wait on property for a table. This was a favorite place of mine when I was young but the aggressive refusal to help with people who can no longer stand put us off and we won't be going back. Enjoy it while you are young and healthy."
