What Sophie Sipes doesn't like about Brewhouse Margaret River:
Sadly I was misled. The staff are rude. Extra mention for the manager on duty. Just wow! The food was overpriced and the brisket was fatty … 2 pieces of brisket but one piece was just fat. Close the bar and restaurant at 8pm!? Really? Dare stay past bar closing and expect rude staff and deliberate loud packing up of tables around you… I was considering purchasing some of the cool merch when I arrived… but I wouldn’t... This is the best place to chill after a long drive from Perth. We got their local beers, pork pull pizza and mussels which is my favourite! The mussels are cooked very well with garlic and wine sauce, def recommended!
Went here for a feed and to try the beer selection. All the food was amazing as well as the service! The atmosphere was really nice while the sun was setting, wouldn’t definitely return!
The food was absolutely amazing but I was way more impressed by the staff. The place was super busy and it was a very hot day but nothing was too much trouble. They anticipated our needs, were polite, friendly and very professional.
They are located down the road from the main town area but is worth the short drive down, just keep an eye out for the signs and carpark. The building does look like it could've been someone's backyard.<br/ <br/ After walking up you get to the brewhouse and it is a large open area full of tables. There is a menu behind the bar with the beers they brew themselves. We were able to pick a table to sit and look through the menu. We had to order at the bar.<br/ <br/ I had the Beef short ribs with noodles. It had a nice flavour and a bit of heat. It was quite nice. The pizzas were also nice, with their thin base.<br/ <br/ Nice place for a drink and bite but it is a bit on the expensive end.
Love the food here. I think it’s a little of a Fusion but it was delicious! Ordered a cider to try as well, superb. There’s a small play area for kids. And the weather was cooling in June, so we sat outdoors. We ordered a few dishes but their beef, wings and octopus was my favourite!
