What EarlofSheffield doesn't like about The Golden Ball:
This was booked on open table and confirmed by text message. However, when the party arrived, they said there was no table and we had to sit in the bar. The food was very good but it spoiled the occasion due to the mess up by the restaurant with the booking! Thanks Neil read more.

"Took my mum and aunt who are both in their 80s for afternoon tea. We had choice of two sandwich fillings from a choice of 8. Then either fruit or plain scone followed by big wedge of cake. Again from a choice of several. All food is prepared to order and all home made. Owner very pleasant and service excellent. We sat in the back room which had lively background music which my family sung along too. It was quite full so made for a lively atmosphere. Our second visit and we will return"
