"Was here a few weeks back on a Sunday. My friends are regulars but as I have never been I found the staff pleasant and polite and held conversations with you. The meal Sunday roast was delicious with a generous portion too very convenient...for me as I do not live far. "This is a very attractively designed restaurant with lovely, very comfortable chairs. Unfortunately that’s as far as the pluses go. On the minus side, the food is average at best, very poor at worst and the service leaves much to be desired. The waiters appear...to know nothing about the food which is not helpful and they work at an extremely slow pace. With so many other similar Middle Eastern restaurants in the vicinity, this is a poor choice that doesn’t compare well."

"Popped in on the off chance of a space; know you usually need to book but they were very happy to oblige. I love the relaxed atmosphere in Sugo, the staff are great without being overbearing. I had the Sugo House; slow cooked melt in the mouth beef shin, pork shoulder with orecchiette in a n’duja rage and my husband had the Strozzapreti with tuscan sausage, wild rocket pesto, oven roasted tomatoes and parmesan. Nice side dish of tenderstem broccoli with parmesan, breadcrumbs and garlic; perfectly cooked. The menu has changed since we last came but it didn’t disappointed at all. A super round off to our walk on a gorgeous autumn day."
