"Fast service and delicious food. I had Popeye's Revenge omelets, which had 3 eggs, fresh spinach, bacon, mushrooms, jack cheese. Added avocado for perfection. One of my sides was hash browns, with cheese and onion added. Our server, Osvaldo, was very attentive."

"This is a great place to eat and have coffee. The owner Ruby is super sweet and accommodating. I'm a vegetarian and she has a great breakfast burrito that was the size of my head lol and so good. The coffee was made to my specs and tasted great. She was so sweet to my son and made him a pancake that he loved that was as big as the plate. Prices are very reasonable and food was wonderful. It's on historic Route 66 so it's a great location to lounge and have coffee and then walk around and shop. It is a must. Give this local owner and shop some love."

"Passing through Amarillo and needed to eat. This was the closest non-fast food or chain restaurant to us so we stopped. Glad we did! Excellent food and service! Small and not fancy but worth stopping for."

"I don’t know how to say this nicely but this place is one of the trashiest establishments I have ever been to.The wait to get seated took too long. My party was the only one waiting with with many tables available.From a distance you can tell that the kitchen is not clean. If it was up to me, we would’ve gone somewhere else but my friend wanted to eat there.The moment from when we ordered to the moment we got our food was about 30-40 min.Many tables left waiting for their food to show up.The staff did not know what they were doing. The “hostess” kept yelling for another staff member constantly across the dining area. “SOPHIA!!!!”The manager on duty looked like he had just rolled out of bed and his pants were falling off the entire time.He was complaining out loud how he had possibly gotten a “corporate call” and was mad that he got one.If it wasn’t for my friend wanting to eat there I would have never considered Dennys as a place to eat anything."

"Huge stacks of nachos, fantastic fajitas and quesadilla, and really good salsa too. the only miss was a ribeye, but we told our 13yo that he should instead order a Tex Mexican court, and he insisted. everything else was great! we are coming back to future trips through amarillo."
