"Alaska, I love you snow damn much!!! Anchorage is literally hiding the best food and beers in this amazing sleepy place tucked against the water. You gotta know to know!!! The locals are smart enough to avoid it during tourist waves, but they must hate not being able to get a Crabby Grilled Cheese whenever they want. You read that right. They have a Crab stuffed Grilled cheese that comes with the seafood chowder to dunk… which was amazing on its own. We also did the Salmon BLT with a side of the chowder and shared the amazing seasoned fries. HUGE FAN. They have quite a large collection of their own local beers, but some taps were having issues, so if you are a draft purist ask before you get your hopes up. They have a couple incredible expensive rare bottles (that are worth every penny in the to-go fridge storage by the gift shop, so I would check that out on the way out the door. Pro tip. Floor 1 is free-for-all seating, BUT If you sit at the bar, you get a free side of the incredible Carmel popcorn (that has a spicy finish! … If you sit at a table bar top, it’s a charge to indulge."

"Finally got to visit this laid back brewery in Mountain View. They sit in a fairly new strip mall, right next to, a trending Peruvian chicken spot. If that 's not enough, and/or too pricey, Alpenglow is in literal walking distance of a handful of fast food restaurants. Basically, they always have a food truck. Who I assume to be the owner and operator, was very cool. He had great humor and was very knowledgeable. He had great tunes playing and I felt comfortable being the sole customer while I was there. They have a popcorn machine with seasonings, as well as art spread throughout their space, for sale. I enjoyed their Hefe, and their Daydrinker. I can 't wait to return!"

"We did a Monday brewery hopping tour and this place was my favorite. Definitely the least appealing from outside--it 's in a strip mall next to a dentist and a Dominoes--but inside is an awesome little brewery with great people working and great beer. I love the vinyl nights. They have great merch. And it felt like a place you could make your Cheers bar."
