"Our local Indian takeaway, and the food was always much better than the 'other nearby ' restaurant. Recently, it was taken over by a new management team. When I placed my usual order, I was given a complimentary salad, and some papadums, which Da Boss loved! I had my usual Chicken Biryani, but then found it was so good I actually ate the entire container full, initially bad news for a diabetic, but now that I know how good it is I can bolus accordingly! If you are here, order and eat! Seriously good food, seriously good business ethic, evidence of a management team that want your business! Affectionately termed 'Surrey Curry ' it is a regular famly mealoption!"

"The restaurant told me that they did not have my open-table booking, so did not give me the advertised 20% booking. I went regularly to this restaurant in its various forms of curry house, then joy and now montaha. it's just my favorite Indian restaurant to be and it's sad to see that it goes downhill like this. really bad service because of only one waiter in service. a dead camp was flat. they had no sancerre, apparently we drank the last of it when we were there in september! after 1 hour wait the food arrived and it tasted all the same and overcooked sad I will not go back"

"This is a standard high street Indian restaurant. my experience, however, was definitely better than most institutions of this type. the menu was somewhat different than the standard price, the service was good that we were not rushed, as you are often up on the roads as they try to turn tables with limited space, and the eating was delicious."
