"Beautiful place and polite served. but no good food I fear. my sirloin steak was not so much gristle to eat. the fish and chips of my daughter, the cruste of the cod was so tender. chips do not taste freshly cooked. I could go on. I think the chef and the management need to pick up their game as they have a nice place, but don't deliver a good product and there is a lot of competition out there."

"If you go to the horse and jockey in Aylesbury for food after being taken to your table you would expect the person that took you to your table to inform you that you order at the bar. Rude personnel. Avoid. Thanks Miller and Butler you know how to run a pub. And PLEASE do not insult me with the fact that there is a board stating you have to order at the bar. When you start out at 6am in the morning and travel over 400 miles in the day. You don't expect rudeness when wanting to order food. Absolute disgrace."

"Eating is quite good for the price, service is very good, friendly staff and very welcoming. the problem is someone who cried the people who go there, cried over the rooms, very rude, feels quite aggressive. but if they manage to avoid these people, the rest is quite good"

"Didn't book a table,Friday 3.30ish but table available. Pleasant staff but miffed why the bar person felt the need to rub fingers down the glass to clear bubbles that would have fell by gravity alone!! Bit grim especially in covid times. Food ordered at bar,came out piping hot. A big thumbs up for that. Lovely meal.The food was reasonably priced along with the drink prices. It was nice to see dogs were welcome. I do not have a dog personally but loved it. Definitely going back."

"We booked a table for 15:00 on 8/10/23. When we arrived we were advised by the bar maid that they had a big table of people so that the food would be slightly delayed. We ordered our food at 15:05 after ordering drinks at the bar. We were sat on table number 106 which is located outside. We waited and waited and nothing came out. We in fact were presented with 1 meal (when there was 2 of us), which turned out to have been brought to the incorrect table! It got to 16:15 and I went inside to ask where our food was. I was then told by a different bar maid to the original one that the resturant had ran out of pork so the roast one of us had ordered could not be made. Why nobody told us that originally, I don 't know! To make things worse, one of the young waitress ' said that she had been waiting for the pork roast to be ready for over 40mins and neither she or anyone else decided to come and tell us! We ended up asking for a refund and even then, no one behind the bar knew how to issue one! It really was the worst customer service I have ever had anywhere. The worst part was not that we were starving, but it had gone past 4pm which means all the supermarkets were closed as it was on a Sunday so we couldn 't even go buy dinner from there! No one cared at all. They were happy to see us go. Absolutely pathetic service and I will be leaving this review on every platform I can, until I get a response from the 5 bells."
