"I had room 1 which was nice, just a little strange having the wash basin outside of the bathroom. The food was nice but expensive considering there wasn't much of it. The breakfast was good. Staff were nice and friendly and attentive."

"This was our first visit to The Butt Inn, but probably won’t be our last. The food was very good and there was plenty of choice. Roasts included two cuts of beef, chicken, pork, lamb and turkey. Service, especially from Farren, was excellent. Unfortunately we couldn’t leave a tip as we had no cash and tips couldn’t be added to a card payment."

"My own and my wife came to the late lunch today and were so pleasantly surprised. Pub food, especially from a chain can sometimes be hit or miss, this was a hit today. some golden scampi boiled perfectly and a very tasty juvenile yoghurt. the afternoon is very nice and we will be back for more. the employee who served us seemed a little annoying, but was a very pleasant young guy. I suspect that the chef might have been manager when he fought with a card payment to tap them, she came to his help and was also very pleasant, I think I caught her name as a chew."

"Five of us booked for an evening meal. We had a mix of Thai, pizzas and English food. The service was excellent and all the food delicious. We had a bit left over all nicely packaged in doggie boxes. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. We’ll be back!"

"The plough is a typical country pub that has retained its charm and rustic feel. this is a welcome basic experience with very friendly staff, very well kept ales and a selection of baguettes to lunch. Highly reccommended"
