"It was my first time to visit the portsmouth arms, it was a visit with the family, and good the experience that the eating was amazing it was nice pub food with a little bit extra and worth every penny, the staff were very polite and helpful and the pub had a nice atmosphere that many places lacked in the last months and a great thank you to sarah c for their great service. they would recommend the portsmouth arms to anyone who thinks about going there either for a drink or eating."

"A big shout out to Taylor who totally went way far and beyond in his duties to make sure we were looked after we were preparing the night before for our friends funeral wake and he came and made sure we had drinks and that we had everything we wanted on the day of the wake he was there again being totally attentive and nothing was too much trouble for him he made us feel so welcome and what a lovely lad he is whoever his parents are they should be proud he is one outstanding ,polite and caring young man thank you Taylor the whole Barton’s Mill is impressive and a lovely place to rest and be waited on a very nice and relaxing outdoor space with waiter/waitress service will definitely go back but in nicer circumstances"
