"Visited Alsace almost as soon as Americans were permitted in to France. We stayed in a VRBO property outside of Eguisheim and this was the optimal restaurant for our first night, having spent much of the day driving and not wanting to have to drive...anywhere. It was a lovely walk through the village and our evening could not have been more perfect. The staff spoke enough English to make up for any gaps in my French and provided excellent attention not hanging over you every second but also being attentive to any needs we had. We ordered a prix fixe menu and they were very accommodating to my wife not wanting the pate de foil gras, giving her an excellent fish option. Really enjoyed their wine list it offered a good range of prices and our server made some excellent suggestions (we even ended up visiting one of the wineries the next day to get some wine to bring home to the States. Made a perfect start to our holiday in Alsace."

"We ate here two nights in a row. The food is brilliant and the cook and barman are very friendly, offering lots of advice about places to see in the local area, where to buy things and so on. T.Bone steaks for $12.00, which includes chips and salad, cannot be beaten."

"3 lunch specialties and 3 cans of drink, all for $30.00. Service was fast, food was good, the cook was very happy. Lunch specialities include the choice of most (not all) favourites with either Fried or Boiled Rice. I'd like to go back."
