"Such a cosy and calming vibe… went there last night with friends to celebrate my and the bar staff and waitresses were so kind and we had a nice chat with the manager who gave us a free birthday cake with a sparkler! The food was really good, loved the burger! Would go there again and highly recommend it to anyone else considering going here! "

"Really enjoyed coming here, and everyone else did too, delicious food, they had prawn cocktail, onion tart, soups, and a lovely roast dinner, beef perfect, chicken really soft and succulent, and the desserts again lovely, ginger cheesecake, banana parfait, and apple crumble, and a chocolate torte with whisky cream, the chef did us proud, the only things we found on just a suggestion, is maybe a tad more communication, for the staff, as our coffee was forgotten, and a drink, and just the gravy on the side, it was fine for me, but not everyone likes it. The staff very friendly, very helpful, good service, and lovely food, definitely return again. The manager friendly and on the ball, all in all, everyone ate everything nothing left, and thats always a good sign, Thanks to all the staff, they all work extremely hard, and compliments to the chef and kitchen staff, brilliant. Thank you for a lovely lunch ."

"Simply a fantastic meal. my friend and I went last weekend in this restaurant and, as per our first visit at the end of the last year, were so impressed by eating, service, ambiente, etc. this is not the cheapest places, but, certainly for special occasions, cannot be beaten in billericay. we had both the steaks (I don't eat fish and she didn't want to be steak jealous! the juicy, juicy, very generous and perfectly cooked to order. we also had a few nice red wines and a few cocktails to finish. at no point did we feel hastily, which led to a wonderful, relaxed evening with fantastic dining. seriously a place you shouldn't miss, even if you don't eat fish (although I hear that the fish is pretty good too!"
